We have a range of teams or competitions running to appeal to the competitive players or players who like to challenge themselves.

Senior Interclub

For the 2021/22 season, Kerikeri entered the Northland Interclub competition after a break of several years.  The team came 2nd out of 12 teams.  We now have two teams in the 15-team competition.  Teams consist of four players on the night each player plays a doubles and singles match.  The season is from October to December and then starts again in February and ends in March.  Matches are played on Monday nights.  If you are interested in playing in a team please contact Hayden Clarke.  Even mid-season it is worth looking into as there are often opportunities due to player availability.

Senior Tennis Ladder (singles)

We run a club ladder competition where members can challenge other ladder members up to three places above them.  Matches are best of three sets with a tiebreaker third.  If you would like to join the ladder please contact Hayden Clarke.

Club Championships

We run club championships for both juniors and seniors each year around March and April.  The senior club championships are normally held over two weekends covering men's and women's singles and doubles and mixed doubles.  If you would like to enter then keep an eye out for entry notifications or go to the events tab on this website to register your interest.  We can also help you find a partner.

Other Competition

There are also a range of other intermittent competitions that are arranged from time to time which may include a Kerikeri Open tournament, Intraclub weekly doubles' competition and various other annual events.  If you have ideas or would like to volunteer to run a competition please let the Club Captain know.
